New pre-law plan aims to tackle scarcity of attorneys in northern Manitoba

Post-secondary schools in Manitoba are partnering to help increase the number of attorneys operating in the province’s north.

The College Faculty of the North will offer a new pre-law software setting up this drop, the college introduced Wednesday.

The system was established in partnership with the University of Manitoba’s legislation faculty, alongside with the Northern Bar Association, the Law Society of Manitoba and Authorized Support Manitoba, UCN said in a news release.

It will very first be offered at UCN’s major northern Manitoba campuses in Thompson and The Pas, with ideas to broaden it in the foreseeable future via length finding out and other procedures, according to the publish-secondary faculty.
