The Canadian Transportation Company (CTA) is inquiring for responses from Canadian travellers on its proposed modifications to the country’s Air Passenger Defense Restrictions, as the agency seeks to “explain, simplify and reinforce” the principles.

The company laid out proposed variations to the passenger rights charter on Tuesday, following the Liberal authorities handed laws previous thirty day period to toughen penalties on airlines, shore up the criticism system and shut loopholes that have permitted carriers to avoid payment.

The CTA formally opened consultations to the public on Tuesday, making it possible for Canadians to submit responses about the proposed guidelines on line till Aug. 10.
